Education background

In 1995 I entered the Nanjing University of Science &Technology (NUST) -- widely considered one of the China’s best engineering schools. During the following undergraduate study my academic records kept distinguished among the whole department. I was granted First Class Prize every semester and my overall GPA(89.5/100) ranked No.1 among 113 students. In 1999 I got the privilege to enter the graduate program waived of the admission test. I selected the Shanghai Jiao Tong University to continue my study for its best reputation on Combinatorial Optimization and Network Scheduling where my research interest lies.

At the period of my graduate study my overall GPA(3.77/4.0) ranked top 5% in the department. In the second semester I became teacher assistant that is given to talented and matured students only. This year I won the Acer Scholarship as the one and only candidate in my department which is the ultimate accolade for distinguished students endowed by my university. Presently I am preparing my graduation thesis and trying for the honor of Excellent Graduation Thesis.

Research experience and academic activity

When a sophomore I joined the Association of AI Enthusiast and began to narrow down my interest for my future research. In 1997 I participated in simulation tool development for the scheduling system in Prof. Wang’s lab. With the tool of OpenGL and Matlab I designed a simulation program for transportation scheduling system. It is now widely used by different research groups in NUST. In 1998 I assumed and fulfilled a sewage analysis &dispose project for Nanjing sewage treatment plant. This was my first practice to convert a laboratory idea to a commercial product.

In 1999 I joined the distinguished Professor Yu-Geng Xis research group aiming at Network flow problem solving and Heuristic algorithm research. Soon I was engaged in the FuDan Gene Database Design. My duty was to pick up the useful information among different kinds of gene matching format. Through the comparison and analysis for many heuristic algorithms I introduced an improved evolutionary algorithm -- Multi-population Genetic Algorithm. By dividing a whole population into several sub-populations this improved algorithm can effectively prevent GA from local convergence and promote various evolutionary orientations. It proved more efficiently than SGA in experiments too. In the second semester I joined the workshop-scheduling research in Shanghai Heavy Duty Tyre plant. The scheduling was designed for the rubber-making process that covered not only discrete but also continuous circumstances. To make a balance point between optimization quality and time cost I proposed a Dynamic layered Scheduling method based on hybrid Petri Nets. The practical application showed that the average makespan was shortened by a large scale. I also publicized two papers in core journals with this idea. Recently I am doing research in the Composite Predict of the Electrical Power system assisted with the technology of Data Mining for Bao Steel. I try to combine the Decision Tree with Receding Optimization to provide a new solution for the Composite Predictive Problem. This project is now under construction.

Besides In July 20xx I got the opportunity to give a lecture in English in Asia Control Conference (ASCC) which is one of the top-level conferences among the world in the area of control and automation. In my senior year I met Prof. Xiao-Song Lin a visiting professor of mathematics from University of California-Riverside I learned graph theory from him for my network research. These experiences all rapidly expanded my knowledge of English and the understanding of western culture.

I hope to study in depth

In retrospect I find myself standing on a solid basis in both theory and experience which has prepared me for the Ph.D. program. My future research interests include: Network Scheduling Problem Heuristic Algorithm research (especially in GA and Neural network) Supply chain network research Hybrid system performance analysis with Petri nets and Data Mining.

英语学科能认真执行学校、教务处等部门的工作安排，具备良好的执行能力，并能很好地消化分解所布置的教育、教学任务。工作落实比较到位。对于常规工作，科组老师能达到学校所制定的要求。

一、优势：科组教师团结敬业、努力上进，困难中能想办法解决问题。

(1)、英语科组高一、高二的讲学稿比较合理、规范，资料整理齐全;尤其高一备课组整理的讲学稿为最好。能按单元或模块整理，使用情况也比较好。表扬高一备课组，特别是何晖的工作的认真和严谨作风。高二在剑宇、克祥的示范和指导下，工作有序开展。姚福清塌实，伟华、方燕进步快，工作认真。

(2)、成绩登记高一、高二次数多，高三老师成绩多，但没注意收集整理，部分老师有分析和跟踪。高一、二周测登记分析情况好，科组平均有13次。

(3)、高三备课、练习等比较讲究实效性，主要是英语周报，讲学稿部分有作文训练试题和模拟试题，成绩登记不够详细，但是高三的作文训练是最好的。唐彦、王小梅更规范。新海、东林、开杰、应国珍能从学生实际出发进行教学。

(4)、听课部分，全科组达到19.5节。学校教学开放日、教学比武初决赛，科组老师听课积极，参与面广。不足部分是部分教师缺乏听课后的评议与反思。

(5)、学生作业部分，学生作业全，听力、听写、试卷、学海导航等;高一、高二以讲学稿练习为主，其他部分练习较少如阅读和写作训练。教师能关注到讲学稿的不足之处并加以弥补，补充。

二、措施。作业的单一化是一个危险的信号，除了基础知识的训练之外，要重视英语综合能力的训练，要认真思考并弥补讲学稿的能力训练的不足之处。高一、高二普通班的英语作文训练偏少，虽然原因是学生不会写，但也要从基本句子开始做。课堂教学效率要进一步提高，小步子，及时巩固复习，要十分重视英语能力题的训练，加强听、说、读、写能力的提高。也要重视课外阅读的训练。教师听课学习的积极性要进一步提高。要思考课堂，因为教师教学的过程也是教师自己成长成熟的过程。

三、关于课堂效率的一点思考：问题、对策与认识

问题：(1)低效教学的问题诊断：学习内容：知识结论及其简单运用。学生角色：被动接受者，容器、仓库、工具。学习方式：听记、训练，主要是学习(记忆)思维的结果。学习动机：强调外在动机，只有适应性需要。(2)低效教学的特征以及归因：他主的而不是自主的;替代的而不是亲历的;破碎的而不是完整的;知识的而不是言语的。

对策：(1)、让学生真正成为学习的主人。学习需要亲历亲为。知的过程比结果更重要。(2)、有效教学有时需要教师保持无为而教的自我克制，不过多地干扰学生的自由学习空间。教师的使命,的是为学生提供大量的课程资源，唤醒和激励学生亲自去接触、体验课程资源。

认识：教学有没有效率，并不是指教师有没有教完内容或教得认真不认真，而是指学生有没有学到什么或学生学得好不好。如果学生不想学或者学习没有收获，即使教师教得很辛苦也是无效教学。同样，如果学生学得很辛苦，但没有得到应有的发展，也是无效或低效教学。

四、检查之后，科组会及时总结，发扬长处、改进不足。

(1)、整合高一备课组的讲学稿和周周清的规范，向全科组推介使用;收集讲学稿与教案的电子材料，备科组使用。英语作为文科，讲学稿里应加大课外阅读量和英语写句子和语段的量，促进听说读写能力全面发展。

(2)、推介高三备课组唐彦老师的话题作文方法，建议高二备课组使用;推介袁新海、东林对基础薄弱学生的教学方法。

(3)、配合教研室工作安排，科组组织高三6位教师出高考模拟试题。

(4)、宣传年轻老师克祥、剑宇、谢伟华的比武优秀课例，积极对教材进行合理的处理，落实以教材教的教学原理。

(5)、何晖老师作文教学与单词听写做的好，教学水平成熟。

(6)、周方彦老师与克祥结对，成长快，工作肯用功，思考。

(7)、新老教师互相学习，互补长短。

(8)、科组长陈长康各方面工作能起带头作用，管理好科组ftp,并建立个人博客教学资源库。

五、一点建议：希望教务处调研高一、高二周测的实效性。恐有流于形式之虑，问问老师、问问同学，下阶段如何做才能既付出了辛苦又取得了良好的收获。是否可以考虑隔周分学科进行，每次安排40分钟的质量检测，并落实老师下班跟进?

关于常规工作的实效性问题，不能一概而论。常规工作做的好，未必教学质量就好;但常规备课等工作做的不好，成绩肯定会受较大影响。有些老师对于课题研究、同行听课、成绩记录，填工作手册等认识不够，主要是因为这没有什么用。况且也没什么动力。因为评价似乎只有一元：成绩，如高考。故教学的基本方法只有一个：作业到位，训练到位，抓得紧，成绩肯定不会比同行差劲。教学研究、教学理论与桂中实践的结合等等。

首先，根据我所任教班级的实际情况，优生几乎没有，中差生却俯视皆是。有人曾说：如果孩子天生就是优生，那教育还有什么功能?又谈什么基础的素质教育呢?因而对占相对多数的中差生，我更应变嫌弃为喜爱，变忽视为重视，变冷漠为关注，变薄待为厚待。我注意 帮助他们找到优、缺点，以发扬优点，克服缺点。其次是以平常的心态对待：差生也是孩子，厌恶、责骂只能适得其反，他们应享有同其它学生同样的平等和民主，也应享受到优秀学生在老师那儿得到的爱。厚爱差生，我真正做到以情动人：首先做到"真诚"二字，即我在学生面前不敢有丝毫虚伪与欺哄，做到言出必行;其次做到"接受"，即能感受差生在学习过程中的各种心理表现和看法，如对学习的畏惧、犹豫、满足、冷漠，错误的想法和指责等，信任中差生，鼓励他们自由讨论;最后做到"理解"二字，即通过学生的眼睛看事物。由于我能善意理解他们，高兴地接受他们，因此促进了中差生不同程度的进步和发展。其次，认真制定教学计划，注重研究教学理论，认真备课和教学，积极参加科组活动和备课组活动，上好辅导课，并能经常听各老师的课，从中吸取教学经验，取长补短，提高自己的教学的业务水平。每节课都以最佳的精神状态站在教坛，以轻松、认真的形象去面对学生。按照小学英语教学大纲进行施教，让学生掌握好学科知识。还注意以德为本，结合现实生活中的现象层层善诱，多方面、多角度去培养学生良好的品德和高尚的人格。

教育是爱心事业，为培养高素质的下一代，本人时刻从学生身心健康出发，根据学生的个性特点去点拔引导。对于个别差生，利用课间多次倾谈，鼓励其确立正确的学习态度，积极面对人生;而对优生，教育其戒骄戒躁努力向上，再接再厉，再创佳绩。通过现实生活中的典范，让学生树立自觉地从德、智、体、美、劳全方面去发展自己的观念，树立崇高远大的理想。在课堂把握上，课前做到认真备课、制作课件，多方面去搜集相关资料。为

提高每节课的教学质量，本人除注重研究教材，把握好基础、重点难点外，还采用多媒体教学，如：投影、幻灯、漫画、录音等多样形式。通过培养学生学习英语的兴趣，调动学生学习的积极性、主动性，提高课堂的教学质量，按时完成教学任务。

最后，能制定好复习计划，并能认真备好复习课，制定复习计划并付诸于教学过程中。同时能够认真布置和批改课后作业，争取不让作业成为学生的一种负担。经过全体师生的共同努力，班级学生取得了很大的进步。

当然，由于教学经验的不足，在教学过程中走了不少弯路，我知道还有许多不足之处。我会在今后的教学过程中逐步改正和完善教育教学方法，争取更大进步，早日成长为一名合格的中学教师。

一、爱岗敬业，乐于无私贡献。

我热爱自己的教学工作。走上工作岗位已经23个年头，在这平凡的23个春秋中，每当我走上讲台，望着一张张稚嫩的笑脸，浑身便焕发出一种无穷的力量，忘记了工作的辛苦，忘记了生活中的烦恼，因为我热爱这些活泼可爱的孩子们。课堂上，我精心讲解，解答学生一个个疑惑，课堂下，我耐心辅导每一个学生，学生的作业我认真批改，还时常写上几句鼓励的话语。我之所以这样做，是因为我感到作为一名教师的光荣，更认识到作为一名教师责任的重大。因此，在工作中，我精心准备每一节课，我在每次上课前都反复研究教材，我还不断了解学生的学习状况，经常询问学生那些地方是薄弱环节，需要重点讲解，我总是想方设法上好每一节课，力争教好每一个学生，决不放弃一个学生，争取使每一个学生在课堂上都能有所收获，有所提高。英语老师课时多，早读多，晚自习也多，早晨七点钟以前要赶到学校，晚自习后将近十点钟才能回家。当英语老师确实很辛苦，但是工作中，我兢兢业业，任劳任怨，不计个人得失，一切以大局为重，以学生的学习为重，从不挑肥拣瘦。

二、努力做一个富有爱心的老师。

工作中，我力求使自己成为做一个富有爱心的教师。我认为爱自己的工作、爱自己的学生是一位教师最基本的素养，是教育的灵魂，是教师高尚的师德情感，是一位教师在事业上取得成功的法宝和前提。否则，他不可能成为一位优秀的教师，更不可能成为学生爱戴的老师。因此我经常从小处着手，从学生关心的小事中寻求最佳教育时机，给学生春风沐浴般的教育。在平时的工作中，我常常用真情温暖学生，处处以真情关爱学生，不仅仅关心成绩好的学生，更关心成绩相对比较落后的学生。对于成绩好的学生，我经常鼓励他们百尺竿头，更进一步;对于学习有困难的学生，我在课下耐心辅导，树立他们的信心，争取使他们也能跟上学习的步伐。

我认为，不放弃一个学生，尤其是不让一个成绩暂时落后的学生掉队，是我们追求的教学境界。也是一位教师所应该具备的良好的职业情感和责任心，因为在教育事业的花园里，一花独放不是春，百花盛开春满园。

三、努力做一个学习型、科研型的新型教师要想做一名优秀的教师

必须是一名爱学习、肯钻研，并且是善于高教科研的教师。做一名学习型、科研型的新型教师一直是我追求的目标。也正是这一目标，激励着我在工作中不断学习、不断反思、不断研究。

就专业知识而言，我酷爱学习英语。英语一直是我喜爱的学科，每当我学习英语的时候，我会感到兴奋，感到余味无穷。我常常把我学习英语的感受告诉我的学生，鼓励他们热爱英语，激发他们对英语的学习兴趣。有时我还把我学习的内容，比如新闻、历史人物等拿到课堂上和我的学生一同欣赏，有时干脆用作教学的素材、练习的题目。通过不断的学习，我的专业知识不断提升，课堂教学也紧跟时代步伐。每每有外出学习的机会，我都争取参加，我曾多次到郑州、北京等地参加培训。每次学习，我都成绩优异，其中20xx年参加油田组织的由外教老师授课的暑期英语培训班，我以平均96分的优异成绩，夺得第一名。

仅仅具有高深的专业知识，不一定成为一名优秀的教师，还必须具有一定的教学技能。因此，在教育教学的同时，我一直坚持理论和业务学习。我反复学习过《英语教学法》一书，我曾经阅读过苏霍姆林斯基的多部教育专著。我还学习了洋思中学的教学模式，以及杜郎口教学模式，吸取他们教学方法中的精华，提升自己的教学水平。另外我还自己订阅了《中小学英语教学与研究》、《中小学外语教学》、《英语试题研究》、《学生英语报》等教学刊物。我坚持自学，并做了大量的读书笔记。通过学习，我掌握了大量先进的教育教学理论，专业知识也得到了应有的提升，教学基本功不断得到加强。20xx年，我参加“国家基础教育试验中心外语教育研究中心”组织的“首届全国中学英语教师教学技能大赛”荣获国家级三等奖。20xx年，参加比赛，再次获得三等奖。
