令我颇为自豪的还有奥赛上的成绩。怎么说呢，成绩不是最好，但足以令我引以为荣。高一的时候，我就参加了化学竞赛，获得了市三等奖。当时我只是初试牛刀，小试身手。高二，开了生物课，对生物的兴趣使我毫不迟疑的参加竞赛班的学习，全心全意投入到生物的广阔海洋中去，其实，那时离市赛只有十多天，距省赛仅有半个月可以准备。我如饥似渴的仅用不到十天时间就把一本六百页厚的〈生物奥赛教程〉啃完，同时又做了几十张的习题。工夫不负有心人，我以**市市赛第二的身份进入省赛。为迎接省赛，我自学了大学生物课程，做了近五年的奥赛试题，每天忙到深夜，一大早又急急赶到学校图书馆。那个时候学校正开夏季运动会，运动员在赛场挥汗如雨，我在闷热的房间汗流浃背。我准备的很充足，踌躇满志，势在必得，我甚至夸下海口：争省一，保省二，现在看来，那时的我就像一把弓，无论精神上还是体力上都张的过满，连日的疲惫像洪水一样漫过了警戒线。在乘车去信阳市的五个多小时的长途汽车时，晕车了，呕吐，头晕，恶心。结果，我没有把梦想带入现实，我以二分的差距与省二等奖无缘。我只得了省三等奖。当时我非常难过，为自己的付出而伤心，妈妈解劝我说：这个努力的过程是一笔不小的人生财富。现在看来，即使是省三等奖，在自主招生中不是也有很大的作用么?不是也帮助我向心仪的大学更靠近一步么?我觉得奥赛是我很难忘的一次经历，它让我知道了过程与结果同样重要。

我现在只是团员，正积极要求入党，因为我相信唯物主义。我非常佩服伟人毛泽东。不到长城非好汉，屈指行程二万。对我而言，贵校就是我心中的长城，我想，只有进入贵校，才能英雄有用武之地吧。期待您的认可!
