进入小学以后，自己的兴趣和爱好更加广泛起来。在老师的培养下，我在学校组织的计算机竞赛中多次获得优异成绩。自小学三年级开始我就写关于一些物理及化学现象的笔记，至今已坚持近十年。 自打初中开设了物理科目以后，自己仿佛一下子进入了兴趣世界的天堂。奇幻奥妙的物理世界叫人目不暇接，留连忘返，物理实验课更是成了我的最爱，优异的物理成绩使得自己年年成为了班里的物理课代表。

然而在老师的提醒和敦促下，自己并没有因为对物理的强烈喜爱而偏废其它科目，最终以极其优异的成绩考入了高中。 "书山有路勤为径，学海无涯苦作舟"。三年紧张而快乐的高中学习生活既让我深切体味到了畅游学海的酣畅(曾获得学校十大学校学习之星、优秀三好学生、优秀班干部)，又让我真正品味出了攀登书山的艰辛。面对频繁举行的省市级物理、化学学科竞赛和各项考试，自己像一名精神饱满斗志昂扬的战士。几年来尽管自己在中学物理、化学学科的学习上取得了一点点成绩(曾获学校物理竞赛一等奖)但我深知这是极其微不足道的。我时常感到自己像一个孩子，茫然地站在浩瀚的知识海洋边，面对着面前博大的未知世界，眼中充满渴望与企盼。

通过各种信息渠道得知中国石油大学(华东)是教育部直属全国重点大学，是国家“211工程”重点建设的高校，是建有研究生院的56所高校之一，也是国家重点支持开展“优势学科创新平台”建设的高校，同时还是教育部首批61所“卓越工程师教育培养计划”高校之一，中欧工程教育平台中国18所著名高校之一 ，“211”工程重点建设的69所全国重点大学之一。

贵校有着悠久的历史，深厚的文化底蕴，丰富的教学资源，良好的学术氛围，为社会培养出许多杰出人才，有许多专业是在国内名列前茅。我特别向往贵校的海洋油气工程，能在浩瀚的海洋中能为国家找到石油这一直是我的向往。我渴望能在明年夏天拿到贵校的录取通知书，我期望成为贵校的一名学生，在贵校深造，成为一名在石油方面对社会有用的人才，希望成为贵校光荣历史的见证人。我渴望这次自主招生考试能够改变我的人生轨道。
